Bangladesh won 9 medals including gold in APMO

Bangladesh has won 9 medals including gold in Asia Pacific Mathematics Olympiad (APMO). Maruf Hasan Rubab won gold in the competition. He is a student of Government Anandamohan College, Mymensingh. Nujhat Ahmed Disha and Adnan Sadiq also won bronze one by one. Nuzhat is a student of Vikarunnisa Noon School and College and Sadiq is a student of Notre Dame College. The remaining six have been given honorary awards. Among them, Muttakin Ahmed Chowdhury, Fahim Fayaz Adib and Muhaiminul Islam Ninad are students of Notre Dame College. And Dewan Sadman Hasan of St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Motijheel Govt. Of Tamim Noor Jahin. She is a student of Boys High School and Fuad Al Alam is a student of Dhaka Residential Model College. 344 students from 36 countries took part in this year's international event. Bangladesh stood 21st with a total team score of 97. The results were officially announced by the organizers on June 29.
